Under the Viaduct

Here’s my latest and greatest piece of music. It’s a slow blues with light jazz elements. This is probably the best sound overall I’ve ever been able to muster on a recording. Click through to give it a listen.

The above recording was only ever meant to be an experiment. I can’t sing well and I don’t have access on-demand for someone who can. The original idea was just to see how my speaking voice sounded couched in music, like dramatic story telling. My niece Morgan insisted that I “finish it” so that it is a fleshed-out piece of music so that’s what I did. It was hard, but I think it was worth the effort — I learned a lot doing this.

I did upgrade almost all my equipment recently and used it here. If anyone is curious about what I used just ask in the comments.
